Cardboard- This is a good material for packaging because it's recyclable and bio degradable. Therefore, using cardboard for packaging is eco-friendly. However, cardboard is not ideal for heavy objects and is not ideal for liquid based products.

Paper- Just like cardboard, paper packaging is recyclable and bio degradable. Also, this material is beneficial because it's easy to print designs on to it.  The disadvantages of using paper is that it ends up in landfills and it's more likely to end up in landfills than plastic.
